We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing/Inventory Control specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and inventory control processes for our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services & competitive pricing & terms
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Track and analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies & reduce number of suppliers
  • Manage the purchasing process from start to finish, including vendor database maintenance, PO issuance, system audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control within the ERP system

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing and inventory control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
